Mells Festival 2012
We’re very happy to be one of the 5 bands invited to play at this year’s Mells Daffodil Festival. Always a brilliant day out – more details to come
Dudlow Joe are a blues & boogie band based in Bath whose musical gumbo includes the driving rhythms of boogie-woogie & New Orleans fonk, a dose of improvisation and scat, spiced with the urgency of the blues.
Our recipes are mostly original concoctions, with some borrowed from the books of past masters - our many influences provide the pungent seasoning unique to us. We love food.

Royal Oak, Twerton
We were rather disturbed to find one of our favourite pubs in Bath, the Royal Oak at Twerton, had recently closed its doors permanently (it appeared). It was more disturbing due to the fact that we had only played there the previous night!
Fortunately it seems that a rescue package has been sorted out, and the pub will be re-opening on January 21st – should be a good party!
